What was the project brief for Milton Architects?
Our clients were retiring after many years spent living and working overseas. Their brief was to design a home that allowed them to indulge their hobbies and interests in retirement, to entertain guests, accommodate extended family and be suitable as the couple age.
How did Milton Architects answer the brief?
We created large and robust open spaces giving the owner's a sense of space while retaining privacy from neighbours and guests. We designed entertaining spaces and a dream kitchen for a keen home chef. A dedicated craft/ sewing space was also worked into the design and is well utilised and enjoyed by the owners.
